Having the email up and running. To show real work is the priority now. People want to see what it brings.
Show that UAC is alive, showing the value. To date, one presentation. You have been involved in UA Day. but we need to start exploring where we really can make a difference. Be careful not to
spend too much time on inviting people, in contrast to showing the value of the UAC.
Joke: suggestion to include it in the ccNSO monthly newsletter. Design-effort is less intense.

Survey: next steps

How to develop specific Survey: example DNS Abuse survey
Joke: The purpose of the survey is important. The purpose determines the kind and scope of the questions. Intense work with a small group to develop the questions. Have a test run before you
distribute the survey with the broader audience.
Regina: yes, I recognise the process
Important to think about your target audience. For CENTR surveys it is a challenge if the questions cannot be answered by one person. Have a copy offline available? Share a unique link with colleagues.

Seda: yes, it does ring a bell. We had multiple conversations with the team. Type of questions is limited. How do you intend to make use of the answers? Mobilise the ccTLDs? Or collect information?
Statistical info. Some questions ask about actions they intend to take in the future. Ask them to mobilize. We do not want to push anyone. No liability. Cctlds are not contracted parties. Other considerations: what can we offer ccTLDs? We found a few purposes,
and developed the questions around these.
Bart: sense of looking at the questions in the other 2 surveys. Regina and Seda gave a helpful overview. We should start having a discussion around the goal and purpose of the survey. Homework
for the next meeting. That is the core question.
Next meeting: brainstorming regarding the purpose of the survey.
Bart: intention is to have the basic questions ready by ICANN81. Avoid overlap with DASC.
Regina: makes sense. Question to Seda. have you considered to adapt the ICANN org survey? I want to avoid double questions.
Bart: you target the same audience.
Regina: our survey is short, and we aim to send it out at the start of the year.
Bart: i recall from previous conversations with Sarmad, that you were unsure whether icann would do a 2nd UA readiness survey?
Seda: probably yes. But probably not in the short term. No timeline yet. Survey for contracted parties. Depending also on UAC activities.
Bart: who is sending the survey is another matter. This group to come up with purpose and questions relevant to UAC and ccTLDs.
Abdalmonem: 2 factors
Since then, many new developments. This new committee is keen to publish its survey. To have more replies.
Bart: good input, different purpose statements. The purpose will drive the direction of the questions. How do you intend to use the results? What is the focus of the questions?

EURid received a letter from .quebec asking for support. New gTLD. Public comment currently open. Has anyone else received this request? Arguments that you also use for universal acceptance.
Additionally. Is there homework regarding the newsletter?
Joke: will prepare a draft and circulate with Regina and Abdalmonem. Will ask both for a slot to conduct a video interview.
Seda: UA Day 2025 planning kicks off. We also prepared an invitation letter. Please spread the word among your community. Call for proposals. Webinar for ccTLD community?
Bart: let’s discuss offline, and come up with a proposal for the committee. Webinar for ccTLDs to get them interested in UA Day. see how we can help. We have a lot of experience.
Regina: EURid applied for a booth and a session at the global IGF on UA and the IDN World report. Content to be shaped. See whether there is an opportunity to briefly promote the activities by
UAC.
