One question I do have for you is what you expect with regards to community engagement? Compared to the previous meeting, there have not been any major new developments and/or draft recommendations that seem to warrant community consultation / engagement, as such, the idea was to provide a status update (what has happened between ICANN61 and ICANN62), outline expected next steps and identify when the next engagement opportunities are expected. Is there something that is missing from this update from your perspective?

While I appreciate that the leadership team is seeking more time, this puts the participants at a disadvantage as not all will be able to attend ICANN62  in person, and we really need to prepare for engaging with the ICANN community while we are in Panama.  Just saying that there can be casual 15 minute updates from the co chairs is not really an effective approach to engagement with the community.  I know we all know that. So, what to do? 

 

Let me propose that CCWG-AP hold a meeting on Monday or Tuesday, and all of us will do our best but to have at least a discussion BEFORE ICANN62. 

 

I am sure all of us will do our best to shift things around so that we can have a working session BEFORE ICANN62.
