Dear CJK GP folks, Considering - next CJK coordination meeting should gather people who can contribute to substantial (detailed) discussion and can decide on behalf of his/her own GP (even if its informal) - such discussion had better be very interactive - e.g., with projector/screen and whiteboard however, - CJK will send only a few people to Marrakech Then, my proposal is (a) meeting at CJK local venue prior to Marrakech * to hold a CJK coordination meeting with a substantial (detailed) discussion (b) meeting in Marrakech if needed * to discuss topics that needs IP and/or ICANN folks with remote facility * to informally gather and chat As to (a) .. I hope you agree with the above proposal. I think we should first understand KGP's concerns against CGP's variant proposal before we set up CJK meeting. I hope KGP will come up with the clarification well before Chinese new year. As to (b) .. We need to decide whether/how we will hold meeting(s) in Marrakech well in advance to secure the meeting rooms. May I ask all of you whether you have any topics that you want to discuss with IP and/or ICANN folks during Marrakech meeting? Response by February 29 January is expected. We have been scheduling four CJK GP coordination sessions at recent ICANN meetings, one each on afternoons of Sunday and Monday, and two on Thursday morning, e.g. the following schedule is from Dublin meeting:

Sunday 1300-1400 Coordination Meeting between CJK GPs only Monday 1530 - 1645 Coordination Meeting between CJK GPs and IP Thursday 0800 ィC 0915 Coordination Meeting between CJK GPs and IP Thursday 09:15-10:30 Coordination Meeting between CJK GPs only

We are now planning for sessions at ICANN55 in Morocco. Would you like us to schedule the same for this upcoming meeting? Else please suggest changes.

A response by early next week would be appreciated.
