Dear Hotta San, Prof. Kim, and everyone
Thank You for the valuable suggestions.
We acknowledge that currently there is dissent about hundreds of variant character between C and K. Since its inception, CJK has been meeting a kind of disagreement on technical stuff and way we move forward. Granted, big progress has been yet made fortunately because we did all this together with three GPs engaged. At this juncture, I am therefore expecting the coming CJK face-to-face meeting, as conducted as the CJK Seoul meeting last spring. I'll be asking Prof. Kim provide more detailed semantic information and analysis about those "unacceptable variant group" before the meeting, to learn the reasoning held by KGP.
I and other experts are preparing a draft for this issue. KLGP will review the draft on Thu., March 17.
CGP would then consider making necessary compromise to reach a common variant setting in this meeting.
I reported this situation to CDNC chairs at the weekend, and CDNC suggests us to move the meeting to 17th~18th March, Hainan Island, together with CDNC annual meeting.
Thanks for your suggestion. This is my personal opinion.
There are two reasons that Mar. 17-18 is not good for me.
1) As mentioned above, March 17 is not good for me since KLGP will review the draft.
2) I need to get a visa to China. Since I will return from Marrakech on Sat., Mar 12, it is too tight for me to get a visa.
Prof. Tseng(曾?雄), Prof. QIAN(??林), Kenny HUANG, Joe ZHANG, HSU Nai-wen (TWNIC), KONG Ning(CNNIC), Edmon CHUNG(dotAsia), Bonnie(HKIRC), Ryan (SGNIC) will join the session. So I wonder if 17th ~19th is a better option for you guys.
Personally, I prefer to have a meeting on Fri and Sat (so that I can travel on Thu and Sun.). This way, I don't have to skip my lecture.
(I need to skip my lecture one week due to ICANN 55. If I skip the lecture one more week due to CJK, the result is that I skip two weeks for Mach.... sigh)
I wonder if it is possible to have a meeting one or two weeks later. This is my personal opinion.
Thanks.
KIM, K.
I am sorry for the late update and change. It might disrupt your plans. If the new time doesn’t work for you, we still could have 20th-21st. we will discuss the coordination principles in CDNC meeting first, and bring the conclusion to CJK meeting. Also, all china mainland experts will present the meeting in Beijing.
Looking forward to your reply.
Regards Wang Wei

Dear YANG Lijuan, all,
Thank you for invitation. JGP members will join the meeting if it's considered to be worthwhile.
As far as I understand, the main breakthrough in making a progress of CJK coordination is the agreement between CGP and KGP. JGP is willing to help the process of the agreement if the March Beijing meeting will be with fully-considered agenda and attended by forward-looking participants who can decide CGP and KGP's position in every stage of the discussion.
I'd like to know the detailed agenda and participants first before deciding to join the meeting. I look forward to the agenda crafted by CGP and KGP as soon as possible.
Regards, Hiro
