Hello, I’m writing today to express concern over the proposed fee increases for .COM domains every year for 8 of the next 10 years. As a business owner and advocate for all people to have their own websites, these cost increases will be yet another barrier for marginalized populations to buy domain names, and an extra added expense for many business owners (myself included). I urge you to please reconsider the terms of this agreement. Perhaps a cap of some kind could be a feasible middle ground. Thank you, Michelle McCormick

I would like to express that I oppose the proposed price increases on .com domains, I think this will have a negative effect on a number of businesses and startups, aswell as hobbyists like myself who don't earn much is any money from thier websites, this will render domains unaffordable for hobbyists.

I am a registrant of several .com domain names for both private and commercial use. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the prices of a global open market. Hi - I urge you not to work with Verisign, a private for-profit company, to raise prices on the main internet domain. This follows a pattern of private companies profiteering off "partnerships" with major governmental, regulatory, or public benefit groups. It's sad to see ICANN, which is supposed to be for ALL internet users, bow down for money to Verizon and selling out in this way. It's disgusting how unelected bureaucrats only seek to enrich themselves at the expense of others. You wouldn't even listen to dissenting views. It is anti-business to raise dot com domain prices. Everyone has his hand in our pockets, just look at your cell phone bill. My pockets have no room for your hands. Do not raise domain name costs. Greg Lugar
