Dear ICANN Team, You’re created a great communication tool in the WORLD, Thank YOU Our website is for a social, non-profit club, many years ago, when our website was created the .COM was the only possible way to set up the website. for us to change now, would mean a lot of work. When your proposal is to increase charges for .COM that would be retrospective measurement. My suggestion is : all .COM websites created from a particular date in the future will cost more annually. Hi there, I’m writing to express my concern with this proposal. Allowing price hikes for 8 of the next 10 years is outrageous, and quite literally giving Verisign freedom to exploit customers. Additionally, with no clear definition of how the additional funds will be used; whether it will truly bring about improvements for customers, this seems like a proposal that is not focused on the best interest of customers. It pains to hear that ICANN as a body does not have humanity at heart. The cost of running a blog will skyrocket, some blogs out there to provide information to internet users will fold. I ask ICANN is this what you want?? Please have us in mind and don't increase the cost of domain registration.

I was saddened to see the recent Verisign/ICANN agreement activities. Especially, the lack of transparency and good ol boy type business dealings. This casts a big shadow over the Internet management oversight. As we have seen in the current government/politicians/business corruption this mirrors the same model - which is: money + organizations + secrecy + monopoly = corruption or the possibility, or the perception of it - none of which are good. The old saying "follow the money" holds true - we don't need it in the top levels of the internet governorship! Regards, R. Adair (owner of .com domains)
