To Whom It Pertains: I do not support secret contracts requiring fee increases that impact large populations of internet users. Please do not raise prices indiscriminately without consulting all others who are impacted by your decisions. I would appreciate your review of such recent or proposed fee increases for .com web addresses to ensure that the internet remains affordable for all, including folks like me who are sole proprietors (and including companies like namecheap.com or godaddy.com who provide the domains.) Hi, I object to the actions taken recently to increase charges on .com domains over the next 10 years. I'm not a big corporation and I cannot afford too much more. Worse, this process has been non-transparant and smells of backroom dealing. I plan to contact my congressman and senators and will watch what you all do from here on. Alec

The fact that you guy have set into motion that increases to the wholesale price to registrars for .COM domains can be increased every year for 8 out of the next 10 years is ridiculous. This sh*t’s gotta stop, guys. You didn’t consult feedback from the ICANN community nor internet users. You do this and you’re a bunch of miserable, self-serving humans. Hi, Do NOT increase .COM domain prices. The internet should be as publicly accessible as possible - increasing prices goes against that philosophy since some users will not be able/willing to purchase a domain after a price increase. Thank you, Roman

Allowing Verisign to arbitrarily increase .COM domain prices over the next decade is a decision based on profiteering. Why not allow all domain name registries to vote on something that will affect their customers and potentially damage the businesses? An organisation like ICANN should be transparent and certainly not do deals behind closed doors. I work as a sole business owner for my wedding videography business. It’s hard enough to keep up with the insane amount of taxes I need to pay and all the other upkeep, but I never thought the price for my website would be in jeopardy. I need this site for my business. Without it, I wouldn’t be able to get noticed or showcase my product easily. This is my second job, and I can’t afford any more expenses on top of what I need to pay to keep working. Please think of the small business owners.
