Dear ICANN, I am a small business owner. I work with clients around the country in the web design and marketing field. Please do not raise the price of .com. I remember in the 90's they were very expensive. If anything, they should cost less, since there are so many other TLD and GTLD options available now. To whom this may concern, I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. This proposed price hike would be terrible for me and for my business. I haven't got all the money in the world, and any hikes would severely cut into my income. This is unfair and unjust. DO NOT RAISE THE COSTS. Sam Brooklyn, New York United States

I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry - it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. As far as as know, in the digital economy digital assets reduce it's price year on year.
