[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement
by Jesse Muller Feb. 10, 2020

Feb. 10, 2020
To whom it may concern. I am a registrant of a multiple .com domain names. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign wants increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. I am a registrant of a .com domain name and have been registering domain names for 15 years, since I was a teenager and $10/year was a substantial amount of money for me. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. As far as I can tell Verisign is already running a steady profit on the .com registry. Any increases in efficiency and decreases in cost, is already at the benefit of Verisign. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. Torstein Thune Bergen, Vestland, Norway

I am a registrant of several .com domain names. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. I ask you to please reconsider this proposal, and consider all users of the internet, rather than Verisign. Thank you! Dear Sir or Madam, I am a registrant of several .com domain names and I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. The current rate is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely managing of the .COM Registry and it has no business dictating the price. Please remember that ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. [Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] OPPOSED to Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement
by Adam Sah Feb. 10, 2020

Feb. 10, 2020
I am a registrant of multiple .com domain names. I am OPPOSED to the proposed price increase to .COM domains, if anything they should be lowered because it costs less each year to manage .COM: the current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest, not to the benefit of Verisign. Adam San New York, NY (via cellphone, random spelling ahead)
