I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. I am very happy to see the price increment. Those who buy domains in bulks and resell them at hundreds and thousands of dollars more need to be stopped. And this can be the first step. Currently, the manager of .COM Registry did NOTHING to stop them from profiting from those "investments." Who needs hundreds of domains if not for extracting profit from normal users? Have you noticed that they have sent tons of automated messages to this mailing list already? A thread was opened by Mark from NameSelling.com with hundreds of automated messages following it in the exact same format. LOL Regards, Hexhu
