I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. Considering that internet/domain names have become a necessity at this point, what's the reasoning behind the proposed price increase? I am against this steady/blind price increase. A one off increase because the costs go up is probably OK. Not everything needs to be under a profit-as-much-as-you-can approach.
