I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. Dear ICANN Registry I am the registrant of the .com domain name and the owner of other domain names. I object to the proposal to raise the price of .COM domain names. Apart from Verisign, no one wants to increase .COM prices. On the contrary, there will be many institutions, organizations, technicians, individuals, etc. who want to reduce prices. As we all know, the current exchange rate of 7.85 US dollars has far exceeded a reasonable price. We pay for services, but the price is not so reasonable. 作为域名二级市场（域名投资市场）最大的受益者，反而为了获得更大的商业利益（.com域涨价），主动引导矛盾实在是不合时宜。域名二级市场客观上确实增加了终端的使用成本，也真是因为此才开放新后缀域用来缓解.com域应用成本过高。.com域名作为目前最成功，也是收入最高的通用顶级域威瑞信（verisign）是有很大贡献。但威瑞信（verisign）应该明白，.com域不是简简单单的商品。它是饮用水、燃气一样的重要社会资源，它深深的影响到现今商业社会。威瑞信（verisign）不但要考虑自身利益，同时还要考虑到社会责任。
