Allowing price increases in the manner proposed is totally unnecessary. Digital infrastructure expenses have been falling. The volume of annual registrations has been increasing. No need for a rate increase. Sent from my iPhone

I am a registrant of a .com domains name more than 25 domain. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. As registrant of several .com domain name and a small business/web enthusiast. The web and all the joy and wonder it provides is built on cheap and easy access to create and build content. This is a money grab plain and simple by Verisign. Keep the web free and out of the hands of big corporations And to sum up my comments below.... I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. Daniel Alt Arvada

I am a domainer (I invest in domain names as a business) or am associated with the secondary market. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. It's already absurd that one cannot ever fully pay for a domain name (unless, of course, you're Google, Facebook or some larger entity that won't even allow you to place a back order on those domains). I totally oppose to the raising of .com prices. It makes absolutely no sense. If anything, technology costs are decreasing.
