Sirs, It seems to me that whenever someone has a strangle hold on anything then they seem to think this is a God given gift to soak more money out of people. Google and Microsoft been classic examples. Please note my strong objection to a price increase without any justification. Let them put a cost analysis forward to everyone justifying this increase to show it is not just Corporate Greed. R A Lister

I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .com domains. Verisign is the only one who wants these increases in .com prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .com Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. Jeff

I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. Domains are needed so that consumers like me on fixed incomes can have alternatives to Facebook and Google for Email and Websites that don't depend on Google or Facebook for sharing. Please have respect for consumers with modest incomes. Com domains are important and should not be sold off to the highest bidder and abused by monopolies.

Hello! I'm against this price hike, it seems to lack community conscious and it appears unclear as to how those funds will be spent. An increased cost impacts people who can't afford the increase as well as hobbyists who might stop due to the increased cost. Also it is unclear how the price will change specifically. Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to log my disagreement with the latest changes ICANN is proposing to the management of .com domains as this has happened without any consultation with people holding .com domains, and in secret behind closed doors. I formally request that these changes be stopped, and a period of public consultation be entered into. I also log a formal complaint to the proposed changes in the pricing.
