As a small business owner with multiple domains, I cannot afford to see increases on my properties. Verisign has no competition for its fees, unlike domain and registrar companies, and is merely a technical service provider. It should not have a say or influence in their pricing.

I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. Olivier Breton New York, NY

There is no reason that these prices should be increasing. Highly opposed to these increases and the close door/dual party process under which it's being proposed. Prices should be decreasing with scale. Kind Regards, Dimitri Vasdekis

Hello, I do not agree with the price increase especially if there is no transparency regarding how the additional revenue will be spend. If it is going towards domain infrastructure then show how this revenue will benefit users and that is it not for personal gains only. I have many domains for my business and need to keep my costs low. This increase will not allow me to do so. I am curious how this increase is justified. Kind regards, //Lee

This is highly unacceptable. We don't want you to make decisions without consulting other stakeholders. There is no reason why I should pay extra for the same domain name. Please rollback this, else it would go down as one of the biggest con in internet.

Many critical businesses and small ventures are relying on an acceptable transparent working environment. Raising domain costs is not bad, but it should be in an open and transparent way to allow for planning, consolidation, and protection of consumers. Please do not let Verisign raise prices at will. -- Thank you
