Considering that internet/domain names have become a necessity at this point, what's the reasoning behind the proposed price increase? I am against this steady/blind price increase. A one off increase because the costs go up is probably OK. Not everything needs to be under a profit-as-much-as-you-can approach.

Please don't allow increases in .com domain prices. -nevin west I pay for 35 .com domains all at $10/year. I wouldn't be able to afford even a 5% per year increase in that cost.

Verisign built the software off registration fee so technically ICANN owns the Verisign software to manage domains.
