I'm writing to protest Verisign's proposed amendment to increase .com domain prices. I run a small community writing website funded entirely by user donations and my own expense, and any domain name price increase would be significant, much less a full 30%. I understand the necessity of charging to maintain infrastructure and services, but Verisign is already making a comfortable margin above their costs, and the hikes appear motivated by nothing but greed. Please help stop them passing these unnecessary costs on to web hosts.
