I do not support the proposed price increases Verisign will be allowed to charge to registrars for the .COM domain. 7% increases for 4 years straight is excessively steep given the inflation environment and the productivity gains for a high-tech business model.

I am also against allowing VeriSign, the operator of a TLD, to also operate as domain registrar.  This self-dealing arraignment is rife for abuse and should not be allowed under any circumstance.
