Dear ICANN team

I understand that you plan to allow Verisign to increase wholesale pricing over .com domains by a significant margin over the next decade, so as to obtain a further $20m support for your own initiatives. My registrar is concerned that there is no clarity about how ICANN will spend the money, or who will ensure that the funds are properly spent on domain infrastructure. I share this concern and feel that such decisions that affect so many users across the web, shouldn't be made by just two bodies. I would value a wider consultation over the pricing proposal.
