I'm a registrant of dozens of domains, most of them are .com. I'm opposed
to the proposed price increase for Verisign. Their costs are continually
reduced with scale and their profits are generous - to say the least.
The public good, which ICANN is chartered to preserve, is not served by
increasing the profits of a company that has a monopoly on the most valued
domain extension.
The moves ICANN has been making lately leaves some serious questions as to
who is actually running things.
Do your job and serve the public.
