I oppose the amendment as it is.

The Amendment is overly vague and gives no guarantees that the supposed improvements will be indeed achieved.
Also, ICANN is proving itself as a terribly non-transparent institution, which is absolutely unacceptable considering the public interest involved into what ICANN manages.
I do not want to believe ICANN is trying to achieve profits to use for private purposes, but what you are doing to the .com domain clearly points to such a case being true

Please make an amendment that is fair to all parties involved: Verisign, ICANN and the enormous number of people currently using the .com domain.
