I oppose the removal of price caps on the .COM tld.
I also oppose the contract changes which allow Verisign to operate as a registrar.
With these changes, there is a clear path to allow Verisign monopolise the retail sales of .COM domains.
It is clear from previous tld contract changes, (eg: .ORG), that the most vocal advocates for the price cap removals and other contract changes, have had affiliations with Verisign.
It is reprehensible that ICANN continually ignores the bulk of public comments opposing changes, while at the same time presenting a handful of advocates who have thinly disguised vested interests in seeing the changes approved.
