Yes technically own the .COM but do you really? .COM is only successful thanks to big companies like Google, Microsoft and Bing who started out in somebody’s basement. By raising the prices for .COM you’re benefitting nobody but ICANN and Verisign. That possible entrepreneur in their basement wont make the next Google and benefit the world hugely; all for a little more profit.
