I am opposed to the rate hike! 7 - 9 dollars per month for a domain name is plenty! For small business and individuals income and pay increases have not kept up with inflation for a long time. While 7-9 dollars /month doesn't sound expensive - when, added up for the entire year it adds up. 

By increasing the cost for a domain the cost for practically every business in the United States will increase! This will hurt small business the most. 

This move to increased domain prices will be a move to further push small businesses or if business and will push individual and families away from personal web sites. 

This is a stupid move and only benefits big businesses at the expense of everyone's else. 

Please reconsider,
