We write to let you know our thoughts on the 'Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement'. We have been using Namecheap for acquiring our domains. We trust their opinion on these matters.

We wanted to let you know we are not in support of the proposed amendment for the following reasons:

Increase in the wholesale price to registrars for .COM
No explanation why Verisign paid ICANN $20 million dollars, how ICANN will spend the money, or who will ensure that the funds are properly spent
Possibility of fewer registrars, thereby harming the competition, choice, and domain name services
