The ICANN should support the open internet community in the broadest way, independent of organizations. The ICCAN may outsource activities, but not the accountability of the tlds. With the proposed amendment, the ICANN will give parts of the open/public parts of the internet to commercial organizations which are focused on profit and not the benefit of the public and open world. I have no problems that ICANN seeks support from private companies and pays them accordingly, but the ICANN must not run away from their responsibilities as the will do in this amendment.
