To whom it may concern,

this Amendment is unacceptable and goes directly against one of the original purposes of ICANN, which is to introduce competition between registrars, not remove it.

The fact that Verisign would be allowed to operate its own Registrar basically allows it to build a monopoly, not dissimilar to Amazon selling the same products as the retailers in its Marketplace at better conditions by using privileged knowledge of the market and its customers - which only lead to Amazon's growth, in detriment to the market itself and its consumers.

Also, 7% price increases, year over year, is astronomical and absolutely unrealistic.
