I am a registrant of numerous  .com domain names.   I have registered domains for my person use and for my family members.

I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains.  The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is already earning a tremendous profit on it’s current rate.  There is no justification for a price increase at this time.

ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest, not the interest of Verisign.
