As a small business owner I would like to voice my concern at the proposed changes to the contract it has with Verisign, Inc. who operate the .COM top-level-domain (TLD).

Website running costs are already a large portion of my business and to have these changes forced on us could have a significant impact on my business

I find it alarming that this proposal has been conducted behind closed doors without consulting or incorporating feedback from the ICANN community or Internet users.

In this day and age the price of domains should be becoming cheaper not being forced higher by a monopoly
