As a small business owner I use a .com domain.  Allowing compounding price increases over time without justification will be a detriment.  If the cost of registering TLD's needs to increase due to inflation, that is understandable.  In that scenario, the increase should be tied to the inflation rate, not an arbitrary percentage.
