I was saddened to see the recent Verisign/ICANN agreement activities. Especially, the lack of transparency and good ol boy type business dealings. This casts a big shadow over the Internet management oversight.

As we have seen in the current government/politicians/business corruption this mirrors the same model – which is:  money + organizations + secrecy + monopoly = corruption or the possibility, or the perception of it – none of which are good. The old saying “follow the money” holds true – we don’t need it in the top levels of the internet governorship!
