As you might be aware of, the most effective and fair way to share resources is to open it to market. However,  some resources are naturally monopolies, the opposite of market economy. Many infrastructures belong to this category. For instance, if the government (also a monopoly) stated to raise your taxes in a similar manner (7% each year, with a few rests), you'll understand how wrong it is for you to even consider misusing your monopolistic position. 

During your lifetime you won't probably ever face such important decision as you are now facing. I urge you to do the only thing that's right and freeze the domain prices. Make your organisation more efficient and transparent instead and you can look back at the right decision with peace of heart for all your life.
