There is absolutely NO JUSTIFICATION for rasing rates for domain services.  ICANN is not focusing on how the industry should can be more efficient.  The core ICANN unstrument is outdated and is not motivated to seek efficiency.  Instead, ICANN is become corrupted by the largest domain registrars.

Prices should be going down, not up.

This automated field of domain registration should be responding to mass-market capital efficiencies, crypto security and registration technologies and other methods to reduce costs and improve profits for registrars.  ICANN’s action to raise rates is absurd and abusive of the public trust and it should be held out as scandalous and in need of broad investigation into the organization and individuals who run it.  Wake up, a day of reconing is approaching.
