Public ownership of the Internet and its  addresses is essential to  vigorous health of our democratic society. 

The service providing web addresses, similar to those providing street addresses for postal service,  must remain a minimal cost service.

Such a service must not shut-out citizens communications and commerce because of the cost of a publically  functioning address (known as a Domain). 

This service must not be placed in the hands of those who operate on the principle of "the highest price that will produce the maximum profits".

Please re-examine the custody of Domain names  and place them firmly in the public trust.
