I am a registrant of several .com domain names and am strongly against the proposed price increase.

The current rate is already excessive for the minimal service provided and it is corporate greed on the part of Verisign (only) to want to increase .COM prices for their own benefit (only). No justification has been provided for a price increase and ICANN should not be entertaining such an unsupported money grab.

ICANN should continue to govern the domain name system in the public interest and not pander to commercial interests.
