In our view, any price increase should first and foremost either reflect an actual increase in direct costs or be matched by an increase in the service level provided. In the present situation, the changes considered appear to be purely motivated by increasing profits and they have no tangible justification. As a result, we are fully opposed to these amendments.

 

This is not an acceptable stance and such changes must be planned in consultation and agreement with the key stakeholders actually providing the DNS services to the domain name owners.
