I am a registrant of several .com domain names.
I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains.
I am retired, and help small businesses get .com domain names and build small websites to help small operators get a website online. Prices have already gone up substantially and will soon out pace the ability of some small businesses to keep their websites. I have tried using some of the other cheaper priced domains such as .us and .monster and find they do not propagate across the www as they should. Perhaps that is because people with huge accounts and .com domains don't like someone using the same name with a .us or .monster domain and coerced their registrant or servers to slow down some ext. Or maybe create a new tld ext that will remain less expensive like .comm or .kom, yet they are not .com the main tld ext everybody types when they have no idea what they are looking for.
