Exactly what is the point of the comment period? This country no longer makes decisions based on the collective will of the majority of its citizens; it does so based on who will make the most money, especially for the people involved in making those decisions.

Prove me wrong by acting on behalf of the vocal majority, but why on earth would you do that when there is money to be made?
