ICANN is changing the contract with Verisign to allow for increases of 70% (7% per year) or more on ".com" domains for years to come. This sounds like collusion for corruption, as the fate of this money is uncertain and unclear.
Few are aware of ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), which is responsible for managing and coordinating the DNS and distributing IP addresses.
It looks like alphabet soup, but this organization directly affects every connection to the Internet, from Servers of sites like Facebook, Google, etc., to all cell phones and computers in the world.
All internet services will suffer in some way from this abusive and unjustified increase.
If you want to help pressure ICANN to withdraw this abusive increase from the Verisign contract, please sign this manifest or send an email to comments-com-ameditation-3-03jan20@icann.org with the following text:

We, users of the domain registration system and the Internet, repudiate the abusive and obscure increase provided for in the contract with Verisign Inc., and ask the California State authorities, the Basel Institute (baselgovernance.org) to investigate and control the legitimacy of the actions and destination of the amounts collected, avoiding the illicit enrichment that any party with funds collected globally.
