I am in favor of price increase because this will make it more expensive to park domain names for sale. A lot of domain names are not available for legitimate businesses because domain name traders register these names and sit in them until they can sell for up to 10000X gain.

The price increase is not so steep so as to keep legitimate businesses from registering the names but enough to keep domain hoarders at bay.
