The world is being ruled by corporation after corporation.  They determine pretty much everything about our daily lives and through ads, marketing tactics, etc. it’s almost complete control over some.

Domains are public, they are accessible to anyone for a fee!  But by allowing a corporation like Verisign to gain more and more control is nothing but a path to them choosing who can own a domain.  Whether this is due to the fees being too high for the common person to afford or because they decide to slip you more money behind a closed door.   Only time and YOU, ICANN, will tell.

Please do not allow something that is used by the public of the world be ruined by greed and profits.  We’ve gotten so far as a society and crap like this is only taking us in the wrong direction.  And if it continues, we will replace you, we don’t really need you, it’s only a convenience for now.
