I am writing to express significant concern about the changes to the contract with Verisign, and in particular the lack of transparency and consultation accompanying these changes, lack of clarity about how the additional funds from Verisign will be spent, as well as the increased cost of .com domains that will result. 

I hope you will reconsider this approach and strive for greater transparency going forward.
