I run a web shop in Canada.  Many of my clients are small fish in the big internet sea — they need a domain for their new business, or for their organization, or for their pet project.  They don't have much money, and the price of a domain can be a real detriment to their pocketbook.

I don't see why the price of a domain needs to climb so quickly, or why this process is happening behind closed doors.

Please reconsider your price increase agreement with Verisign.  Thank you.
