Keeping domain names affordable is very important, especially in enabling the common man/woman in pursuing the freedom of commerce and creativity.

This is even more important for folks living in developing countries.

Please re-consider this.

As a lifelong technologist, I wholeheartedly disagree and disapprove with the measure to increase prices on .COM domains etc.
