I have great concerns in all these anti consumer practices from ICANN lately.

Clearly the US corruption is spreading wider and wider.

I hope the EU soon interferes and ensures proper consumer rights since ICANN and by extension the US clearly are a poor guardian of the internet.

Who benefits from these proposed changes? I think it is a very safe bet that some folks at the top of both ICANN and Verisign are the only ones on that list.
