My main concern is that .com domains represent the ability of everyday people to set up a site of their interest and express their voice online. Exorbitant price increases could be damaging to this interest. I remember when I was much younger and setting up a site and contemplating the cost of a domain. The low cost can be a helpful motivator for people interested in expressing themselves, and even be quite the inspiration once they have a site online.

All in all, please do not unfairly increase the price of domains.
