Hello!

It’s come to my attention that .com domain prices will be vastly increased. I’d like to put in my dime to let you know how it affects all the small businesses and people who work for themselves.

While I still believe .com is widely used by popular brands who have billions in their pockets, many small businesses and entrepreneurs use .com to establish their brand in the web. It’s the most popular domain ending that just raises a lot more credibility when people see the brand for the first time.

Planned increase is just too much. I believe (and I think I speak on behalf of many) that this change should go gradually and you as a organization should think of all the aspects for how this could change a lot of things for multiple kinds of people. Maybe there’s a way to sort out who is a big company under .com and who is just a small warrior who tries to make their living.
