Hello, I own several .COM domains as a small business owner, some of which are also for personal use and are not monetized in any way. I am strongly opposed to the price increase concerning all .COM domains. This is highly unjustifiable and not in the interest of all of us who own domains as part of a small business or as a personal hobby. The current of $7.85 is already far more than justified and already steep enough – a price increase will only be in the interest of Verisign, rather than in the best interest of the public and all domain registrants.
