This amendment would permit a monopoly of the most popular TLD in use. The exact provisions permit a dramatic increase in pricing as well as a totalitarian level of control by Verisign. This should not happen. Individuals across the world rely on the distribution and competition within this space, centralizing pricing and control in Verisign would dramatically alter this. I oppose this amendment.
