This is unacceptable for an organism of the importance and caliber of ICANN to do such a thing. Totally unethical, and shameful. No consultation has been done either, and no proper independent research in how it benefits the Internet and its users as a whole has been provided. It will hurt an incredible amount of small businesses and freelancers.
